I miss playing this one but I only could play the 30 days free trial T_T.

 

I found this game while I was trying to find a way to play FFVIII, then going to Square Enix website I saw it and became curious about. After my failure in defeat Ultimecia I decided to give this game a try.

 

The graphics are just so amazing that sometimes I would just walk around to see everything. I had tons of screenies but somehow they disappeared T_T. I still have a few of them, specially my customized characters. 

 

I totally loved the customization tools and could literally spend hours trying different features to make a new character XD. 

 

About the gameplay I can say that as a fail/noob player that only knows how to play with magic/witch/sorceress/wizards beings I had trouble with the game.

 

Why? Because as a RPG (from storyteller/table thing and not console) my thing is "hit first and hit as hard as you can, if it fails, heal and hit again" style of play didn't really fit any of the classes and I had a hard time learning how to deal with the skills without being able to access the jobs system that is not available in the free trial.

 

Another thing that I found really annoying was not choosing where to start, I mean, which city state. It's related to the class you choose and I TOTALLY hated the Gridania maps (I always hate forests no matter the game) and I hated walking around Limsa Lominsa city, the place is hell out confuse for my lack of sense of localization lol.

 

With that said I was only able to enjoy the game playing with a Thaumaturge starting in Ul'dah ^^.
